Event Description

WFR & WEMT Recertification

For
Our WFR & WEMT graduates are encouraged to attend on a yearly basis to maintain and polish their skills. Prior to your course you should thoroughly review your original course materials; there is NOT enough time in a Recertification course to cover all the material presented in your original course...yet you are still responsible for knowing it. If you wish a more complete review of the WFR or WEMT curriculum, consider taking our DLP WFR or WEMT course. The course includes Adult & Child CPR /AED certification. WMTC certifications remain valid for a maximum of three years with no grace period: Check the expiration date on your card.

Graduates from approved wilderness medicine schools may recertify with us by successfully completing a Recertification course or by completing a Wilderness First Aid course and passing our online WFR & WEMT Recertification test if they are currently certified OR in their grace period. Click here for a list of currently approved providers.

Description
Our standard WFR & WEMT Recertification course is 3-days long; our hybrid WFR & WEMT Recertification course is only 2-days but requires pre-course study and successful completion of an online exam.
If you are interested in a hybrid WFR & WEMT Recertification please visit the hybrid WFR & WEMT Recertification course website's homepage for course details and read the blog article Is a Hybrid Course in Wilderness Medicine Right for You? before registering and paying for the course. You may also recertify your WFR or WEMT by taking one of our Wilderness First Aid courses and passing the online WFR & WEMT Recertification exam.
