Description:
The Disaster + Travel + Wilderness First Aid Course is a blended experience of cassroom and hands-on learning. Student time is spend rotating as mock rescuer and mock patient in realistic care-giving scenarios, making the most of learning-by-doing, and forming muscle memory.
Overview:
No pre-requisites
For adults and focused youth ages 12+
Blend of classroom instruction and hands-on rescue scenario practice
8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. both course days
2 year internationally renowned WFA certification
Counts as recertification for WFA, AWFA, WFR, and wilderness part of W-EMT
Cost:
$185 (includes textbook day of)
$190 (includes textbook mailed to you before course)
