Event Description
The intention of AORE‘s April 13-14 Inclusiveness Summit is to convene members and not-yet members to improve JEDI practices in the facilitation of the outdoor experiences they lead. We will explore barriers through four thought leaders and discuss actionable ways that attendees can lead in addressing these barriers. Following each thought leader session, attendees will participate in their choice of breakout group discussions based on self identity. This event is designed for outdoor leaders to broaden their awareness of challenges they, or others, may encounter while working in the outdoor ecosystem.

Why is this not free?
Registration fees are necessary in order to fairly and equitably compensate speakers and to offset administrative costs. We are excited to be able to offer a reduced registration rate to members because of financial support from the 2020 gift AORE received to support diversity, equity and inclusive programming.
