With the EXPLORE Act now signed into law, this session will explore how recent policy changes are impacting opportunities for outdoor facilitators. Experts from the AORE Access Committee will present their newly released Permitting for Organized Groups: A Step-by-Step Guide to Obtaining Permits on Federal Lands. Representatives of the Coalition for Outdoor Access (COA) will discuss the complexities of the current permitting system, challenges faced by the industry, and pathways for reform. Learn how collaborative solutions can integrate stewardship and streamlined processes into land management practices, and discover actionable steps you can take to engage in improving access.
