Justice Outside: Community Workshops
Here at Justice Outside we understand that the commitment to racial justice, equity, and inclusion in the outdoor and environmental spaces is a collaborative undertaking. Our approach is a blend of academic expertise and lived experience that ensures a holistic, practical, and culturally relevant approach to all of our programs. Justice Outside’s Community Workshops are taught from a real-world perspective with ever-changing curricula that adapt to the needs of the participants of each session and meet them where they are in their journey.
We offer four Community Workshop series throughout the year covering topics relevant to nonprofit organizations working in the justice sectors. Each series consists of three two-hour sessions. Our workshops offer supportive learning environments to anyone looking to explore new ideas and deepen their DEI journey via shared knowledge and experiential learning.

The first Community Workshop series of 2026 will start in February. The topics for the first series will be “7 Equity Principles” on February 25, “Asset-Based Language & Curriculum Review” on March 4, and “Best Practices & Curriculum Redesign” on March 11. You can choose your preferred time zone for each session: 10am-12pm ET or 10am-12pm PT.

Attend the series first session only: $200

Complete the series: $500 (Early Bird pricing of $400 available when registering for the entire series.)
The remaining series for 2026 will take place on the following dates. Sessions topics will be announced as they are finalized: -
