Details:
Lecture is oriented to basic anatomy and physiology, with the majority of the course devoted to hands-on skills and simulation time. This course is a great introduction to the concepts of medical care in a wilderness setting. Participants can also recertify a Wilderness First Responder (WFR) or Wilderness EMT (WEMT) by completing the 3-day course and taking an online recertification exam (additional $25 fee).
Cost is $250; recertification of WFR or WEMT via the standard Wilderness First Aid (WFA) is $275 (includes additional $25 testing fee).
