AORE Announces Call For Proposals for 2016 Conference

Applicants can submit proposals for educational sessions, workshops, activities and more.

 

ANN ARBOR, MICH. – April 18, 2016 - The 2016 AORE Annual Conference Presenter Relations Committee is now accepting proposals for educational sessions, workshops, activities and more. The AORE Annual Conference is set to be held in the Twin Cities (Minneapolis/St. Paul) November 9-11, 2016. The University of Minnesota will host the gathering of outdoor programmers, teachers, leaders, students and supporters from college and university non-credit recreational programs and degree granting programs, military bases, community recreation centers and other not-for-profit outdoor programs.
 
Build your network and share your knowledge and passion by presenting a general education session. General education sessions are featured all three days of the conference in 30 and 75 minute time slots. Round table, lecture and panel discussion should provide academic and practitioner insight in one of seven identified conference tracks. Submission deadline is Monday, May 16, 2016.
 
Giving attendees a one-stop shop for industry training and certification renewals, pre- and post-conference workshops add to the many perks of attending the annual conference. Workshops can include trainings, certifications and social events relevant to students and professionals in the industry. These are featured before and after the three day conference. Submission deadline is Monday, May 16, 2016.
 
Be a guiding light for students making their way into the working world! Student and Career Center sessions are geared toward the advancement of students and/or job seekers. Sessions are featured all three days of the conference. Submission deadline is Monday, May 16, 2016.
