Join AORE Leadership and members as we come together to discuss industry current events, challenges and member questions.
We'll kick the session off with Paul Nicolazzo, Director of the Wilderness Medicine Training Center International, who will talk about the pros and cons of online ONLY wilderness medicine training and certification, which the Wilderness Medicine Education Collaborative (WMEC) believe is ineffective and will not re-certify. He will explain their reasoning and discuss potential consequences to graduates and the outdoor industry if online ONLY certifications become widely accepted.
The second half of our chat is open forum. We invite you to bring your current challenges, successes, questions, and experiences. As a collective group, we will determine the path of discussion the forum takes and provide opportunity for members to support each other through shared experiences.
