1:00 PM - 2:00 PM EST
Join AORE Leadership and members as we come together to discuss industry current events, challenges and member questions.
Doing qualitative research, I've found citizen science participants have their own knowledge and agendas that they bring to the monitoring activities they do outdoors, such as monitoring birds and frogs. Participants are not just there to collect data. They are learning well beyond the minimum requirements of the citizen science programmes, they are teaching others, they are recruiting more people for the activity, and they are using knowledge they gain in the outdoors for advocacy and conservation.
The second half of our chat is an open forum. We invite you to bring your current challenges, successes, questions, and experiences. As a collective group, we will determine the path of discussion the forum takes and provide opportunities for members to support each other through shared experiences.
This event is free for AORE members and $25 for not yet members.
